We are the champions

We would like to present the victors of X24 Season 3:

1. Best Use of Technology – Infinite

Infinite impressed the judges with an application titled – ‘Clear Way’, and secured the best technology award. They had an interactive demonstration showcasing a live stream simulating a scenario with an ambulance. A Chromecast was used to demonstrate the application, and an Electric Imp to display that traffic lights can be turned green as an ambulance approaches. The developed system was intuitive enough to send voice notifications regarding the approach of an ambulance in regional languages. Infinite intended to tie up with hospitals, insurance companies, and Uber to spread awareness of the application.

2. Best Implementation – Parikrama

Parikrama took the award for best implementation with the application – ‘Savari’. Their solution aims to revolutionize the traditional system of carpooling. The application promotes trust as you can choose your companion, convenience by allowing the user to save cost, and connect quickly. Additionally, it allows you to socialize and stay safe while traveling. The data collected can further be used to give you better recommendations for future trips.

3. Best Market Research – Unicorn

With great insights, Unicorn secured the best market research award for ‘EZ Park’. It was developed to solve peoples parking problems. With the tagline – Book – Drive – Park – Drive, the application used Amazon Echo Dot, so users can utilize the voice functionality while driving. Alexa captures data and remembers the users exact travel times incorporating AI and big data in the solution. The benefit to the vendor – perceived value and the margin charged.

4. Best Marketing Pitch – Royal Brigade

The Royal Brigade was the best at selling their application – TravelPal, and won the best marketing pitch award. The aim of the Salesforce-based solution – reduce travel cost, allow the user to earn money, ensure a great vacation and interact with locals. It syncs with Facebook and Google, shows travel guides, provides options, matches interests, and gives recommendations. They aim to affiliate with restaurants, shops, and malls to spread awareness. Finally, they plan on selling their data to travel companies to monetize the application further.

5. Best User Interface – Constant Variables

With an intuitive UI, Constant Variables won this award. The tagline was, ‘Get, set, go – install , and the aim of the application – challenge people to improve or adopt a good habit. Positioned as a lifestyle based application, it encourages users to remain consistent. The app was demonstrated using Alexa, integration with Google will allow automatic notifications and artificial intelligence integration will recommend better connections in the future. The idea to sell the application – approach enterprises, partner with Uber, advertise and sell collected big data.

6. Best Teamwork — Spartans

Working together, the Spartans secured the best teamwork award. They created – ‘Trust Platform Application’ to choose a person’s identity, their aim – digitally transform identity validation. They want to create a network of individuals and organizations to facilitate security, trust, safety and audit compliance. They incorporated IBM Watson, AWS and Alexa in the solution created. The idea – identify users through QR code and pictures.The end users would be organizations, as they would benefit from authentication and background verification, the creation of a gamification experience and transparent process.
